What you need

  • Your LinkedIn profile – enough for posts on the profile.
  • For a company Page: the Super admin role on that Page. Content admin and Analyst aren’t enough with us today.

Not needed: an ad account or LinkedIn Premium.

Create a company Page (if you don’t have one yet)

  1. Top right on the home page, the For Business icon › Create a Company Page.
  2. Page type Company, fill in the details, tick the box “on behalf of the company” › Create page.

LinkedIn requires at least two connections and an account that is at least one day old. Creating a Page isn’t possible in the Android app.

Check your role on the Page

  1. On the left of the home page open the Page under Your pages (otherwise Show all).
  2. A super admin assigns the role: Settings › Manage admins › tab Page admins › Add admin › name in Search for a member … › role Super admin › Save. You must follow the Page.
  3. Nobody around? On the Page More › Request admin access (add your current position to your profile first).

Connect to Immosearch

  1. In your Immosearch account open Settings › Connections. Next to LinkedIn click Sign in with LinkedIn.
  2. LinkedIn shows all permissions – confirm them together with Allow. You don’t choose a Page there.
  3. Back at Immosearch the Manage LinkedIn window opens: tick profile and Pages and click “Save” – only then are they active for posts.

If something doesn’t work

My company Page is missing from the window

Then you’re not a super admin there (step 3). LinkedIn doesn’t report this as an error – the Page is simply missing. Once you have the role: click “Disconnect” under Connections and connect LinkedIn again; the Page then appears in the “Manage LinkedIn” window.

“Renew connection”

LinkedIn lets the permission expire after a while. If Connections shows “Renew connection”, click it. If the button is missing: click “Disconnect”, then connect again and tick the page in the window once more – until then, posts that are due are skipped.

Revoke access

In Immosearch click “Disconnect” under Connections. Additionally on LinkedIn: Me icon › Settings & Privacy › Data privacy › “Other applications”, next to Permitted services click Change › Remove.

Immosearch also shows a connected and switched-on account on your public provider profile – after disconnecting it disappears there again.
