During the tourist season every Friday afternoon the Roman soldiers, the gladiators and the dancing nymphs are ready to take you on an incredible journey into the past of two thousand years. Another highlight is the Roman Castrum of APULUM with the Roman road, which as a visitor you should not miss. Likewise the world-famous cathedrals Catedrala Reintregirii Neamului (Coronation Cathedral) and St Michael´s Roman Catholic Cathedral are worth a visit! Alba Iulia is only 54 minutes by car from the Hermannstadt airport. In Cluj, the nearest large city, there is also one of the country's most important airports.
