The cleaning company attended the building but could not enter an agreed area. Later, the service report records an attendance while residents see no change there. First it must be established what was actually carried out and what access obstacle prevented the remaining service.
Consider attendance and service separately
Record confirmed arrival, accessible areas and the work described by the company. “Was on site” and “cleaned all areas” are different statements. The management should not treat the proof as simply incorrect or complete before the scope is clarified.
Ask about the specific obstacle: Was the agreed access locked, did a key not fit or was an authorised escort missing? Technical problems with locks are passed to the responsible specialist side. This article does not confirm any entitlement to circumvent access locks.
Link the make-up visit to a usable access solution
A new appointment only helps if its access is actually organised. Agree the meeting point, the responsible contact person and the feedback channel in case of a further obstacle. Keys are issued via the clarified authorised route, not passed on as an arbitrary neighbourhood solution.
Which service is to be made up and what price or contractual consequence the failed attendance has will be examined separately with reference to the specific contract. An internal note does not create an automatic entitlement to a free repeat or compensation.
Hypothetical case: front building done, rear building inaccessible
The company was able to clean the front building; the passage to the rear building was locked. Management has both service areas confirmed separately. A suitable access solution is agreed for the rear building. The area already cleaned is not requested again as an unresolved overall service.
Check completion at the original target
After the replacement appointment it is recorded whether the previously inaccessible area was actually serviced. The previous access defect receives its own correction so that it does not recur at the next attendance. The completed cleaning and the improved access chain are two verifiable outcomes.
